Kanetik Designs

This was a design job for a document keyword search application. This particular client had a development team that was working well, but needed some assistance on making the application look good. My role was to provide a design and basic UI guidelines that their developers could follow. The theme of the design was based on the code-name of the application.

This application is deployed behind a firewall, and cannot be viewed live.

Architecture Update is a site designed to bring in all of the latest news and blog entries about various architects; combined with photos from a public photo publishing site and lists of books from Amazon.com, it is designed to be a hub of information about each architect included in the database. Kanetik is responsible for the entire concept and implementation of this site.

The design pictured is a concept of a cleaner, leaner version than the current site.

This was a site design for a client who was starting up a document imaging company in Maryland. Work done for this client included logo design, site design, and "estimator" coding, where potential clients can determine how much their service would be.

This image is one of the concept prototypes we designed for PBI. They selected one of the other concepts, which can be seen by visiting their site.

The SM Center website design was a overhaul of the look-and-feel of an existing site. The site employs some third-party form processing, so Kanetik worked primarily on transferring hundreds of pages of content into the new look.

As is our typical method, we provided the client with several design prototypes, and worked with Dr. Elisa Shipon-Blum of the SM Center to make sure that the design was exactly what she wanted.
